For that reason investors will find themselves increasingly investing in Real Estate Investment Trusts (REIT).

These REIT’s are generally collections of income-producing real estate and mortgage securities.

Investors can deposit their cash in REITs, and collect a dividend while riding out the insecurity and inconsistency of the stock market.
