[Orlando, FL]  – So the big debate is, is the tenant required to let the landlord show the property? Or does the tenant have right to tenancy and privacy?

When a tenant agrees to rent they also agree to allow the landlord access to the property if needed. However a landlord must give the tenant reasonable notice of the visits.

For showing the property the landlord must give the tenant a minimum of 12 hours in advance notice and the showing must be between hours such as 7:30 am to 8:00 pm.

The landlord may not show the property without the renters permission in case of an absence.
